Terrific Toddlers Story & Playtime

Come join us at the Linden Public Library for Terrific Toddler Story and Playtime!

  • What: Terrific Toddlers Story and Playtime.
  • When: Wednesdays from 10am until 11am.
    • *Two classes will be held on Tuesday in September: September 12 and 19.

Program for Adults with Special Needs Children

  • What & When: Program for adults with Special Needs children, including Autistic children. Program presenter Ana La Tona is a certified Occupational Therapist with 28 years of experience. Ana La Tona is offering practical ideas for treatment of Special Needs Children with the use of games, including Connect 4, Bingo, Operation, Twister, Thera Band and Thera Putty.
    • October 14 at 10am – Fun with Games (ages 5 through 8); Fosters positive socialization, fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
    • October 21 at 10am – Fine Motor Program (ages 6 through 10); Improve writing, scissoring and social skills.
    • October 28 at 10am – Self Help/Life Skills (ages 12 and up); Time Management, balancing schedules and social skills.

Health and Wellness Fair

Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden and the Linden Health Department are pleased to present the Linden Health and Wellness Fair. The Linden Public Library will be present at this event. Stop by to get a Library Card, or show your Library Card to get a spin on the prize wheel!

  • Who: Free entry, everyone is welcome!
  • What: Health and Wellness Fair. Free health services will be offered including blood pressure readings, blood sugar readings, DermaView sun damage analyzer, male and female cancer screenings, vision tests, hearing tests, flu vaccinations and more! Tables with local health and wellness information, products and services. Enjoy prizes and giveaways, including a free six-page budget-friendly recipe booklet available for each attendee. The Linden Public Library will be present at this event. Stop by to get a Library Card, or show your Library Card to get a spin on the prize wheel!

Let’s Dance Our Story

  • What: Sharing stories from several Latin American countries infused with dance and music, Lilliana Attar introduces students to cultures of Latin America while encourging awareness, appreciation, and respect for differnt cultures. Students expand their cultural knowledge while learning to tell Latin American tales through movement.
  • When: October 18, 2023 at 4pm.
