Wrap and Yap

Friends of the Linden Public Library invite you to attend Wrap & Yap.

  • Who: Adults only.
  • What: Bring your holiday presents and wrap them for free with our supplies (donations appreciated), or have a Friend member wrap them for you for a $5 donation. Enjoy company and wrap away! Hot cocoa and cookies will be available.
  • When:
    • Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 9am until 2pm.
    • Monday, December 9, 2024 from 4:30pm until 8:30pm.
    • Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 9am until 2pm.
  • Where: Linden Public Library.
  • How: Reservations recommended, so that we have enough materials. Donations appreciated. $5 for a Friend member to wrap your holiday gifts.

Get Sneakers Recycling Program

Support the Friends of the Library in partnership with GotSneakers by donating used/new sneakers. Clean out your closet for a good cause. Recycle. Reuse. Make a difference.

  • What: Get Sneakers Recycling Program, in partnership with GotSneakers, a sneaker recycling organization to turn old sneakers into cash and keep them out of landfills.

Help support the Friends of the Linden Public Library when ordering at Jersey Mike’s Subs at Aviation Plaza in Linden. Tell them you are supporting the Friends of the Linden Library while handing in this flyer when you order on August 15, 2024.

Enjoy yourself and support our cause at a special fundraising event for the Friends of the Linden Public Library at Blaze Pizza in Clark, New Jersey on June 6, 2024 from 4pm until 9pm. Blaze Pizza will donate 25% of proceeds from your meal back to the Friends of the Linden Public Library.

  • What: Blaze Pizza fundraiser for the Friends of the Linden Public Library. 25% of proceeds from your meal will be donated to the Friends of the Linden Public Library.
  • When: June 6, 2024 from 4pm until 9pm.
  • Where: In-person at the kiosk at Blaze Pizza, which is located at 1255 Raritan Road, Clark, NJ 07066, or at online checkout or the Blaze Pizza App.
  • How:
    • In Store: Present the flyer below before paying.
    • Online Orders: Enter the code 1068A into the ‘Promo Code’ field for online orders placed through the Blaze Pizza App or the Blaze Pizza website to have your transaction count toward the fundraiser. 2024 Spring Flower Sale

The 2024 Spring Flower Sale is a fundraiser presented by the Friends of the Linden Public Library. Orders can be placed in-person through the order form available at the Linden Public Library, or online.

  • What: 2024 Spring Flower Sale; a fundraiser presented by the Friends of the Linden Public Library.
  • When: In-person orders can be placed from March 20 until May 10, 2024. Online orders can be placed from March 20 until May 15.
  • How: Orders can be placed in-person through the order form available at the Linden Public Library, or online.
    • In-person: Pick up the catalogue and order form at the Linden Public Library. Fill out the order form, and be sure to include tax (NJ tax 6.625%) when calculating your total Bring your money and order form to the Library in an envelope marked Friends of the Linden Library Fundraiser before May 10. We will pay for shipping and place a group order after May 10. We will notify you when your order comes in to pick up at the Linden Public Library. Make checks payable to The Friends of the Linden Library.
    • Online: Click here to order for yourself online. You will be responsible for paying shipping ($6.99 per order), and your order will be shipped directly to you in a timely manner.
