- What: History of New Jersey lecture series presented by Joel Farkas. Lecture topic: George Washington, New Jersey & the Revolutionary War. In this lecture we introduce a 21 year old Virginia Militia Major named George Washington. We then follow a timeline of events (and the individuals central to these events) from 1753 through 1780.
