The Linden Public Library will host a book discussion and film presentation with acclaimed author and award-winning animated filmmaker, Matthew Hahn. He will present his latest book, The Animated Universal Classic Monsters. This will be Hahn’s third appearance at the Linden Public Library. In 2018, he showcased his first book, The Animated Marx Brothers and in 2022 he showcased The Animated Peter Lorre. Matt is a published cartoonist and pioneering Maryland craft brewer. He lives in the Washington, DC suburbs with his wife, Cheri.

  • What: Book Discussion with author Matthew Hahn. Acclaimed author and award-winning animated filmmaker, Matthew Hahn, will present his latest book, The Animated Universal Classic Monsters. Matthew Hahn will present several film clips featuring cartoons with Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, the mummy, the invisible man, the wolf man, the creature from the black lagoon, and the phantom of the opera.
