Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic
The Linden Public Library in partnership with Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, the Linden Board of Health and Super Health Pharmacy are providing a Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic.
- What: Covid-19 vaccinations.
- When: February 12 and March 11, from 6:30pm until 8:15pm.
- Where: Linden Public Library.

Rescheduled: Power of Budgeting Workshop
Due to circumstances beyond our control, tonight’s workshop, The Power of Budgeting, has been rescheduled. The Power of Budgeting workshop will be held on March 18, 2024 at 6:30pm.
Library Closure on January 19, 2024
The Linden Public Library will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2024 due to inclement weather and the New Jersey state of emergency order.
Delayed Opening on January 17, 2024
The Linden Public Library will open at 11am on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, due to the extreme cold and icy road conditions.
Delayed and/or canceled programs include:
- Project Healthy Bones scheduled for January 17, 2024 will begin at 11am today.
- The Terrific Toddlers Story and Playtime Program scheduled for January 17, 2024 has been canceled.
Project Healthy Bones Delayed Start on January 17, 2024
Due to inclement weather and icy road conditions, Project Healthy Bones scheduled for January 17, 2024 will begin at 11am today.
- Who: For older adults.
- What: Project Healthy Bones, an osteoporosis prevention, exercise and education program.
- When: Every Wednesday
- Class will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 17, due to inclement weather.
- Where: Linden Public Library.
4D Nature Photography Exhibit
- What: 4D Nature Photography Exhibit by nature enthusiasts and family; Jim Duffy, Carol Duffy, Mike Duffy and Maureen Duffy.
- Jim Duffy is retired from the oil industry. He specializes in wildlife photos and strives to capture interesting behaviors and great detail in his images.
- Carol Duffy is employed full time at the Linden Public Library. She specializes in birds in flight and seeing something special in the commonplace and small objects like flowers & insects.
- Mike Duffy was a Zoo Keeper, he now works for the Linden Public Library. He has an eye for color and composition. He also likes to take some unusual photos of deserted buildings.
- Maureen Duffy is a marine biologist. She traveled extensively for work and gets fantastic opportunities the rest of us can only dream of. Obviously, she is our underwater and marine mammal specialist. She now is a medical scribe.
