OPRA Requests

Please note: The Linden Free Public Library is a separate entity from the City of Linden and only maintains records pertaining to Library business. If you are seeking records maintained by the City of Linden, please direct your record requests to the City of Linden which has its own separate website.

OPRA Request Policy

To request documents under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) from the Linden Public Library, please use the following procedures:

1. Download the Request Form: The OPRA request form is available for download here. Hard copies of the form can also be requested from the Library at the Reference Desk during regular library business hours.
2. Submit the Request Form: Completed forms can be submitted via email here, hand delivery, or mail to:

If the OPRA request is transmitted by email, please use a separate individual email (not within an email chain or reply), note in the subject heading “OPRA Request”, and use attachments in PDF format.
